Personal Mission:
I have been called and empowered to make the world a safer place by practicing acceptance of you and myself and our situation and by protecting and defending the innocent.
Action in the World:
Robert was initiated 4 years ago. He has been elder chair for his center and has served on the board. He has staffed in a variety of capacities. He is a Family physician who has been in practice for 31 years. He has done a variety of cross-cultural practices from Indian reservations in South Dakota to inner-city Memphis. For most of the past 18 years, he has been an Assistant Professor at University of Tennessee Health science Center Department of Family Medicine where he teaches and practices family medicine and obstetrics. Robert has left his medical practice and teaching position and has moved to Asia, where he is doing medical teaching and relief work. He will be with a team of physicians who have sensed God’s call to make a difference in the lives of suffering people. They are starting/revitalizing a family medicine training program in a country that has been decimated by war, and has the highest infant mortality in the world.
